Hello Dear Reader Now, I could start this newsletter with something along the lines of ‘it’s been a year’ as has become common parlance in end of year round-ups these days. But at the risk of stating the obvious: every year has been a year. Some of you have had - hopefully - a marvellous 2023. Some of you will cheer with relief that it is over on December 31st.
I needed this! thank you for making me feel really very good about just making it to the end of the year! I had put so much pressure on myself to achieve something worth writing about but hell just sitting here on the 3rd last day of this year is enough for me!
A Christmas miracle? There's a woman named Nerina, who inspires us with her music and posts, and reminds us that if she can get through this shit show, surely we can too. And her priceless voice, wrapped in every hurt and dream, just embodies truth . Thank heaven for the miracle of you.

The world according to Nerina always seems a brighter place, so thank you for your musings and music throughout the year and really looking forward to things to come. I'm also really impressed that there are those who visit a gym on Christmas Eve! Dave looks a little sad sitting amongst the baubles, but other than that have a wonderful time! 🎄
