Hello Dear Reader Since we last convened in your inbox, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom unexpectedly called a general election, inspiring his French counterpart to suddenly do the same, and England lost to Iceland in the football again in a manner eerily reminiscent of those Halcyon days of 2016 immediately following the Carnival of Brexit. One never imagined there would come a time where one might feel nostalgic for June 2016, but that time has arrived, folks.
Last one. I had the misfortune of have Jane Austen's Persuasions forced upon me in Secondary (Not High School). The only thing of note in the whole novel was someone heard something through a hedge. FFS. The rest of the novel has been purged from my memory . Thank God. Useful business woman though. She actually made money. Only positive thing I have to say about her.
Liz Miss Trust. I must be the only member of the public who watched the entirety of her speech outside No 10. After getting PM office. Seems like the only footnote will be. Shortest term of PM ever. (Most of you have forgotten her already) So NOT a tory.
So Happy to hear a new Album and music tour is in the offing. So will it be called Songs of Digression (hardly) or Dear Happy Little Children. Yeah Children did you pop one out when no one was looking. I expect more from someone with degree in English. 😀. Stay Lucky and for the Love of God don't agonize over Album and get it out As Soon As Possible !
In one sense, of course, Camilla is absolutely the new Diana (although she'd be far more fun if she was more like the one in The Windsors!) Generally agree with everything you said - For me, reasons to be cheerful are getting to see Hard Fi, Rhoda Dakar singing Bodysnatchers' tunes and Reverend and The Makers live later this year, all things I'd assumed I wouldn't get the chance to do.
Diving in the Galapagos in September is going to be right up there, too, I hope!
Would love it if you brought this new show to different parts of the country, especially Newcastle/Gateshead. I’d have come to London if I could have. Keep warm and lots of love. Lorna xxx
Fabulous!

I like your Party Political Broadcast on behalf of the Monster Raving Loony Party - Oh it was the Conservatives, sorry must have got confused.........
It's gonna be difficult to get Theresa May and sausages out of my head.
Wonderful, and tangential newsletter, Nerina.
If I may proffer my following comments:
• Browned off with politics.
• T May seems like a nice lady. My bet is Cumberland.
• Don't like Jane Austin, and her frocks wouldn't suit me.
• Heating on still
•Yay to festivals, if the weather is good
• Airshows are, well, ok.
Love everything you do. Sad I can't make your London show this time.
Hope to see you soon!
I’ve just finished your newsletter and there is still daylight hours left
Take care and keep safe, rock star

Hopefully I can get to see you again in 2025!
